3/4 Purple’s classroom is looking very different these days! That being said, Students (and parents) have taken these changes in their stride and have continued on with Literacy, Math, Geography, Science and Creative Art activities exploring new topics and submitting work digitally. As a STEM challenge, students collected recyclable materials such as boxes and eggs cartons to build their own town. They designed and created different structures using 3D objects, incorporating different materials and paints to add the finishing details to make their towns come alive! And what would Easter be without an Easter Hat? Students have been busily working on their Easter Hats at home and have been striking a pose and posting them on our Google Classroom for a virtual Easter Hat parade!
It is without saying that Term 1 has proven to be a whirlwind of a term that will go down in history. But amongst everything that is going on within and beyond the boundaries of our home life it is the strength, comradery and resilience from students and families that has truly personified the CPS spirit, We are in this together – and we will get through this, together.
Parents we would like to extend a massive thank you for your flexibility and support as this couldn’t be achieved without you! Each day brings a new experience but it is a day closer to when we will all be able to assemble in the morning and start our school day!
